Pros

Good opportunities for career growth and great availability of highly talented engineers to work with. Company has very good health benefits and low insurance premiums. Company also has a good 401k matching program (4.5% of salary as long as you save at least 6%), an annual stock payment (additional 5% of salary) and a profit sharing bonus plan (target is 7.5% of salary).

Cons

The levels of management have increased significantly in last 6 years, creating greater separation between management and workers. The salaries of managers, especially executives, has risen sharply while salaries for workers have stagnated. Woodward now pays below average for workers but has good bonus plan and great health benefits. Many workers that have left have not been backfilled, creating ever increasing workload on those who remain. Company recently announced closure of electrical manufacturing at the Fort Collins site with plan to move those operations to Poland.

Pros

Great with previous leadership. But then...

Cons

New leadership is not as dedicated to employees as previous (although bonuses have been better). New middle management there is a lot of nepotism. Once a stable company, layoffs have been a common occurrence since COVID.
