Workhuman Response
7yWhile we are truly disheartened to read your comments, we encourage you to talk with our HR team, as we do welcome all feedback. We have an open-door policy, without fear of retaliation, and encourage anyone with concerns like this to approach our HR team so we have a chance to address or remediate the situation as necessary. And I am personally available to you as well.
What makes Globoforce and our culture special is being unafraid to tackle important issues, even if the impact to the business isn’t immediate. We are steadfast in our belief and united in our mission to make workplaces more human. And, our employees can attest to the fact that we certainly believe in practicing what we preach. We are consistently ranked on the Great Place to Work and The Boston Globe Best Places to work lists in both Europe and North America. So while we are not perfect, we are fiercely committed to building a diverse and inclusive workplace and that effort is led by our highly engaged and deeply committed CEO.
Here are some facts relative to gender diversity:
More than 50 percent of our employees in the U.S. are women.
More than 50 percent of our employees at the executive/director level are women.
Like all companies seeking to focus on these areas, we have committed to getting more involved in the support of STEM education for young girls and will be part of the change that is needed to address the hiring challenges faced. In addition, we have recently formed the Globoforce Women’s Network. This group, that enjoys involvement from all levels throughout the company, will be a sounding board for our team members and will allow us to define our strengths and address any opportunities. I would encourage your participation in that group.
If you would like to talk about your concerns, please reach out to me directly or a member of the HR team.
