Cons
Bear with me, it will quite long. They have 1 principle called 'Works Way'. I will explain what it is. 1. No Scapegoating (except you're CEO): they believe that they can't blame anyone. In my experience is correct, since you can't blame anyone because all the framework is very buggy and messy, so i can't blame anyone. Plus CEO always blame their staff (eg. sales fault, dev fault, etc). 2. Just Think: All they do is only think, when you ask upper management, their answer only 'you need to think yourself'. So basically upper management is useless since they can't give any solution. 3. Breakthrough: YES THEY CREATE BREAKTHROUGH, but it's only in dream. They always think that their product is great. They always say that their position is above SAP & Google. And until now, upper management still stay in their dream. 4. Contingency Planning: They have planning. Since currently the financial status is not good, so their plan is to cut their employee, cut employee benefit, and reduce your salary. Isn't it great?? 5. Human Skill: They believe with human skill, even they brave enough to put Arts Major fresh grad into their important teams. Btw, you will find that CS graduate in this company is much less than non-CS graduate. Apart from their 'Ways', i will put more cons: 1. Create their own word: Never ever believe with what they always said. Agile in this company is not real Agile. AI in this company is not AI, etc. They like to introduce their own 'fancy word'. 2. Start from Zero: Even you're CEO from Google, or you received Mathematic / Physics Nobel, you will start from bottom. So they treat all employee same. Meaning that even you're ex-silicon valley CEO, your start position will be same with fresh graduate from Arts Major. 3. Bad Manager: A lot of managerial level in here is only delusional. They even can't understand how to code. What they know is only to 'dream' and to talk. 4. Salary reduce: Since they will pay you with JPY, so in this last year only, your salary will be reduced 10% from your starting salary. And they also start to cut your benefit. 5. Blurred Position: Junior and Senior level developer is same. The difference is only your title (YES, SALARY IS SAME).
