Pros

Brilliant professionals with world-class expertise in their fields; Very international organization; Green initiatives at the DC office; Intermural sports opportunities in DC like softball and soccer; Great DC office location and facilities; Many employees are talented and committed to what they do; Competitive salaries and benefits including every other Friday off

Cons

Technically-strong people are often promoted to being managers and manage other people without having the skills or motivation to do so. This is especially difficult for young professionals when they run into managers who are uninterested in their development or growth. Many talented young people end up moving around the organization or eventually leaving in order to find managers who will support their growth without having to pay years of dues first. The CEO Carter Roberts sits on a pedestal and is completely unaware of the realities of most of his employees, i.e. those who are not on the executive or VP levels. The cost of living in DC is too high for most entry level professionals, those at WWF included. One needs to reach the Director level making $100K in order to be able to afford to live comfortably in the area especially with kids.

Pros

The panda Fridays and the cause

Cons

I worked in finance and accounting. The comptroller was incompetent and the management was incredible toxic. No work nothing much going there. They are also not fit for the position. Longevity is what has made them stay in the position. Back office isn’t great
