      Good exposure to all parts of the electrical utility world. Transmission, distribution, control center/SCADA and EMS, substation design, metering, etc.

      Lower then average pay for positions compared to consulting firms.

      Work-life balance, okay benefits, and cemented impact on the community

      Cons

      Because the company has a bottom line, promotional paths aren't really a thing beyond individual contributor to manager. I don't know what the next level up would be besides that.
