Pros

They are truly trying to change the world with their 2030/50 goals for a carbon free business. They have expanded this to methane reductions and are committed to these goals. They are located in great parts of the country with PSCo particularly attractive in the Denver region

Cons

Their compensation is below sub-par. And there is a culture of avoiding work. This is not a place for bright ambitious talent unless you're very careful about what group you join. Make sure you understand if your group will have the resources it needs. Job areas are very understaffed and those that are capable get loaded up with more work.

Pros

Standard methods, cloud infrastructure, and reliance on in house staff over contractors makes it very easy to implement safe, fast, consistent changes. You will be valued as a human and you will have a voice within this company. You can make a career here. Your coworkers and immediate leadership are all talented and intelligent individuals who actually know how to do the same work you are doing.

Cons

AI rollout and unevenly applied hybrid work made things difficult for employees with disabilities and those that lived far from office who had traditionally worked remote or for tasks that do not lend themselves well to AI overhead
