Pros

Direct supervisors were very kind and wanted you to achieve your full potential Diverse Workplace, accepting of those from all walks of life Mix of teamwork and individual responsibilities Solid benefits that keep the employee's future in mind Opportunity for advancement and strong on the job training

Cons

High Deductible insurance plan means you generally pay more in premiums than the plan covers if you are relatively healthy Very strict expense management in recent months that reduced or completely got rid of benefits such as bonuses Minimal Staffing for some departments which limits when and how you can use your PTO Can be stressful due to state regulatory requirements Interdepartmental communication issues can lead to roadblocks Outsourcing many in-house departments which can hurt job security Many leadership positions vacated in recent months on top of additional layoffs and outsourcing Company is profit driven but due to state regulations that inhibit increased revenue, this means that the lever of action used to increase profit is almost always cost reduction

Pros

Standard methods, cloud infrastructure, and reliance on in house staff over contractors makes it very easy to implement safe, fast, consistent changes. You will be valued as a human and you will have a voice within this company. You can make a career here. Your coworkers and immediate leadership are all talented and intelligent individuals who actually know how to do the same work you are doing.

Cons

AI rollout and unevenly applied hybrid work made things difficult for employees with disabilities and those that lived far from office who had traditionally worked remote or for tasks that do not lend themselves well to AI overhead
