      As a utility company, it's existence is stable/to big to fail

      Cons

      Stretched resources. Lots on your plate or those above you so it often feels chaotic and lacks cohesion. Learning and training exist but more so you having to guide yourself rather than learn from experts.

      Work-life balance, okay benefits, and cemented impact on the community

      Cons

      Because the company has a bottom line, promotional paths aren't really a thing beyond individual contributor to manager. I don't know what the next level up would be besides that.
