Pros

Some co-workers are very professional employees who are extremely helpful and believe in collaboration. Which makes the days more bearable. Insight into how utility companies operate.

Cons

Horrible management, not sure how these individuals got their roles or were promoted to management, but 75% of them are so under qualified and toxic. Those who stay long enough be Managers/Senior Managers/Directors play the popularity game and promote those who kiss up to them. They do not promote qualified professional leaders. Extremely toxic work environment, Glint surveys are a joke, nothing ever comes out of the results of said survey.

Pros

Standard methods, cloud infrastructure, and reliance on in house staff over contractors makes it very easy to implement safe, fast, consistent changes. You will be valued as a human and you will have a voice within this company. You can make a career here. Your coworkers and immediate leadership are all talented and intelligent individuals who actually know how to do the same work you are doing.

Cons

AI rollout and unevenly applied hybrid work made things difficult for employees with disabilities and those that lived far from office who had traditionally worked remote or for tasks that do not lend themselves well to AI overhead
