Pros

You meet some really great individuals The people with disabilities recieve a tremendous amount of support and learn a great deal when there (outcomes are actually working to there benefit) Some of the programs give you the autonomy you desire

Cons

There is no room for advancement, everytime I tried to go in any direction I was blocked by management (still waiting on my year review) They dont follow protocol; they make rules up as they go along. Honestly the pay is not that great either I mean its 2 dollars more than you make with other agencies but how can you afford to pay your bills and upper Managment is getting paid millions (see The New York times ad; Recently released) When you have personal issues they don't care; they make little concessions to help you and redirect you to EPA. How is EPA supposse to help me if I need a schedule change? Really!
