Cons
Management and HR stick together. So HR protects the image of the company and the the employees by covering for abusive management. Managers will call you to be disrespectful and give conflicting orders, then email you in the kindest way possible as though they're collaborative. Managers will pull you from traveling to your client just to make you come to the office for a 5 minute meeting about something that can be an email. A manager forced someond to stay in her office after their work hours knowing they'll be late to pick up their child from school. Someone had a doctor's note for bronchitis and was accused of faking. If you speak up, managers retaliate and create a hostile work environment.
