Pros
I worked with many genuinely smart, kind, clever ICs at Yotpo. Cool branding and a great marketing team. They were early into Shopify's ecosystem and so have a lot of visibility there.
Cons
People are leaving in droves for a reason. Yotpo (rightly) has a terrible reputation for its product quality that they're scrambling to cover up with witty marketing campaigns and positioning themselves as some sort of rebel disruptor. I'm still recovering health-wise from the intense stress and long hours. Yotpo views US-based CSMs as collateral damage - you'll be strung along with all of these promises to make up for terrible onboarding, an overload of customers to manage, buggy products, and low pay. Those promises will never come to fruition. It never gets better, and their internal culture is harsh and toxic. This is an incredibly difficult company to be any sort of person of color at (and, to be clear, there aren't many of them). This is a near-impossible place to work at if your geopolitical views differ in the slightest from leadership's - and managers see that as a point of pride.
