Pros

The people first culture creates a fantastic work environment. The company is only 10 years old but has made great strides in creating an environment that it is more fun than job. Diversity plays a big role in Yum's hiring policies. Yum puts the Restaurant General Manager first - that's the person who has day to day contact with our most important people - the customers.

Cons

There are so many competing priorities, that it's challenging to get them all completed on time and on budget. The fast food industry is fairly saturated in the US so it requires innovative thinking to maintain margins. Sometimes that means do more with less.
