Pros

Company has good values and makes a good effort to actually live by them but this is becoming increasingly difficult. Successful market position and strong products. Company lunch meeting once a week Take what you need vacation policy Decent benefits (including a Bonus which you wont get because of unrealistic sales goals.) Company has made good strides in gender diversity. -Genuinely better than most. Acquisition by an equity group in Q2 2017 is professionalizing some areas and creating needed process in some areas where it was needed.

Cons

Acquisition by an equity group in Q2 2017 is also having growing negative consequences: much of what made Zapproved special is being replaced by soulless MBA style management. Make Customers Ridiculously Happy philosophy replaced with Make Investors Ridiculously Happy Really great people who have been with the company for years are rapidly leaving. People are now being treated as disposable Unrealistic sales and product development goals are driving disfunction. 401k match is vested over 4 years so you will never see most of it. No stock options

It's important for managers, HR, and the executive team to continually receive feedback from our employees as we scale. In response to the 401k vesting item: The match is 100% vested immediately. When we started our 401k match program mid-2017, we proactively changed vesting so that all money was 100% vested immediately. For 2018, we have moved to a safe harbor match, which also has 100% immediate vesting.
