We are truly saddened to read that this was your experience at Zapproved. As you mention above, we have a respectful, collaborative team and we have zero tolerance for the behaviors you discussed. When situations like this have occurred in our workplace we address them immediately and have a track record of doing so. Regarding the comment about favoritism toward privileged identities, we work so very hard to ensure that we are as inclusive as possible. From the very top down, Zapproved has taken as part of its mission to unwind privilege in our culture. From having a dedicated DE&I Manager and internal committee to monthly programs, we are trying to set the standard. Finally, we have increased the number of informal and formal feedback channels for employees, including exit interviews, so employees have a number of safe forums to share feedback on their experiences.
