Pros

- I've made lifelong friends (some mentors) and so many of my team members were exceptional. - lots of varying clientele - good paid holidays / PTO days

Cons

- favoritism and kissing feet, if you can't shut down your morals and kiss a couple feet to climb this corporate ladder, then agency life in general is not for you -middle-senior leadership is twisted, greedy, fake, and stuck up. They do not respect you - they only care about how billable you are - ALL billable or nothing. They "encourage" you to "live fearlessly" and partake in DEI related programs / activations but ONLY on your additional free time. They'll allot a meet 2-5 hrs a month but also expect something spectacular. - Their DEI efforts are a joke, but that has to do we senior senior. The ones at the TOP - not the VPs-EVPs - the ones higher. - Severely underpaid, but they blame it on "industry standard", but everyone works 9+ hrs a day because theres "so much work" - then pay everyone more, BEAT the industry standard - Promotions are an act of favoritism and/or doing extra work - which again leans on being underpaid, especially the junior to mid levels (AAE-VP) who do ALL the grunt work - PR still reigns the agency, no other division gets even remotely the same recognition - Speaking out against public injustices, managerial issues, ANYTHING REALLY that doesnt align with senior leads? You have blacklisted yourself 🤗

Pros

Supportive manager, great work environment. Good work life balance which is not common in medium-large agencies. Highly recommend for interns.

Cons

Has the expectation to handle office administrative tasks which were not included in the JD.

Pros

Good foundational PR experience with opportunity to work on cool brands and focus on specific areas of business. There's great work in the pipeline and senior leadership is laying the groundwork for expanded capabilities across practices. Plenty of learning and development opportunities throughout tenure and internal tools to grow professional skills.

Cons

Terrible work culture and some middle managers who are self-concerned/not invested in supporting young talent. Junior employees are overworked and underpaid. Did not feel set up for success in my role and felt there was a lot of favoritism within the company.
