Zymo Research is extended California’s 2022 COVID-19 Supplemental Paid Sick Leave until March 31, 2023, whereas many other companies ended this benefit on December 31, 2022. In an added effort to keep our employees COVID free, there was flexibility with WFH for employees with applicable job functions. Unfortunately, because Research Associates at Zymo Research work heavily in the laboratory, there is limited option to WFH. Zymo Research has been led by Dr. Larry Jia, CEO and President, for the past 29 years. Under his leadership, the company has grown from a small, garage rental into an internationally recognized biotech business that serves scientists around the globe.
