Poor Leadership:
In general, middle management (directors and AVP level) needs extensive training regarding leadership and how to manage teams. There are some leaders who are great, but the ones who aren't really bring down the entire culture. There is a general lack of EI among leaders, teams are given unrealistic demands/deliverables with limited support, and there is an unwillingness to take action when employees with good intentions surface actionable issues.
Operations:
The onboarding process is chaotic, there is limited or confusing documentation to help guide new hires (or existing employees).
Addressing Concerns:
Surfacing concerns to the HR/People Culture team doesn't really feel helpful as the senior leadership team is very close and protective of their own at the expense of the teams down the chain.
Lack of Clear Vision:
It feels like the company is in a real throw everything at the wall and see what sticks kinda place and do whatever it takes to keep existing clients happy-even if it's not aligned with the overall roadmap/vision for the organization. The CEO continues to try to define the "why" and "how" at town halls, but that high level vision does not make it down to the day-to-day work and teams are suffering.
No growth opportunitites:
-There are limited growth opportunities at b.well. It is a small org, which plays into this, but it often feels like people are promoted as a last ditch effort to salvage a team (even if they aren't qualified).
