- Notice most of the positive reviews here are left by someone with a leadership title, but not many positive reviews from the rank-and-file. That disconnect is a large part of the issues b.well is experiencing today.
- Every sprint is absolute chaos with tight / unrealistic deadlines for the work scoped, with constant add-on tickets and shifting priorities. Everything is an emergency all the time, and no long-term planning is done across teams creating even more last minute fixes.
- The role you are hired into may not be what you end up doing. It is not uncommon to be assigned work in a completely different role outside your expertise or desire to perform that type of work in your career. To be clear, I'm not referring to just occasionally helping out outside your area of expertise, I mean long-term job duties. Just be aware and make sure you are willing to accept this before working here
- No 401k match. Not the major complaint, but does have a long term financial impact especially since the pay is right below market average for SWE and I am aware of some considering leaving due to pay / financial reasons.
