Pros

Cool place to work... If you're not a customer service rep. The RSUs are pretty cool I guess. Pay is fine for the current market, could be better but could be worse. There's no mandatory overtime. That's really about all I can think of.

Cons

-I've had 3 managers in 8 months. It's been impossible to gain any kind of reputation or have a hand in any projects that aren't mindlessly taking tickets day in and day out to gain some kind of skills that I can use elsewhere. -They keep doing outside hires for management instead of giving any opportunity for growth. It feels impossible to get out of the Cx Agent role here. -Everyone but cx agents get quarterly mental health days, off-site retreats, unlimited PTO (our pto/sick day accrual is probably the worst I've ever seen. you work 1 week to get 2 hours PTO), bonuses, regular reviews for raises, holidays... and they're not shy about advertising to Cx that nobody else is working today. They make it absurdly clear we're the doormats for the company. Instead of giving us actual rewards for our hard work, they make a big show about giving $20 gift cards out to random people on rare occasions. -Constantly increasing demands in workload, It's getting harder to keep up with -Incredibly awful QA tactics where QA can just throw in random suggestions that aren't policy, for things that aren't incorrect, and ruin your job performance -Leadership that is absolutely clueless and unstable -The company's practices are super shady and you spend all day in chat, taking 2 at a time, telling people no over and over and getting yelled at when the customer realizes they were just taken for a ride. Everyone is very, very burned out. -Did I mention that there is zero opportunity for growth? Just in case I did, I want to say it again. If you're looking for a company to be with long-term and grow with, keep looking. There is no reward for doing well here. Work here to do the bare minimum, keep your head down, and look for another job while you do it.

Pros

High-impact work with exceptional people. Hims gives you the opportunity to solve meaningful operational problems at scale. The pace is fast, the company is growing quickly, and you'll work alongside many talented operators who genuinely care about building something great. If you're someone who likes ambiguity and enjoys creating structure where none exists, you'll find plenty of opportunities to make an impact. There is also significant autonomy if you're willing to own problems and move quickly.

Cons

Decision-making and organizational alignment can lag behind the company's operational ambitions. There were times where ownership between HR, other HR functions, and Operations wasn't clearly defined, making it difficult to fully implement workforce strategies. Strong ideas and data-driven recommendations sometimes struggled to gain traction because priorities shifted or functions weren't aligned. As the organization continues to mature, clearer accountability and stronger cross-functional operating models would improve execution significantly. The HR organization was still maturing. As responsibilities expanded, ownership became increasingly centralized, but execution didn't always keep pace. This created situations where decisions crossed multiple functions without clear accountability, leading to rework, slower execution, and frustration for business partners.
