Pros
Awesome start-up experience - impactful work, great team, lots of opportunities for growth, albeit with a hectic work schedule, and sometimes unstructured, ambiguous work environment. I am absolutely loving my experience here. Not only am I proud to be a part of a mission-driven startup that is taking a really unique and interesting approach to solving the plastic pollution crisis, but I have also grown immensely in my role as a manager and have felt incredibly supported by the senior management. The team here is amazing and it is amazing to be part of a company that is truly mission-driven and passionate about the work they are doing. Everyone here is bought into the cause and are passionate about making a difference in this world and it is really inspiring to be part of such an environment. The senior management team here is also great to work with. They are incredibly supportive of our ideas and have been incredibly encouraging in helping us reach our goals. Overall, I am really happy and energized to be part of such an amazing team and I am proud to be part of a company that is making a real difference in the world. The work is always challenging and rewarding and I am passionate about the cause and mission of this company and everything that we are doing. I would highly recommend rePurpose Global to anyone looking for a job that is rewarding, inspiring, and has a real impact. P.S. The pay and financial structure is great too, given this is a startup environment.
Cons
Being an early stage organization that has scaled very quickly, there are of course dynamic and sometimes chaotic work spikes! But this is something I have embraced as it opens up huge opportunities for exposure too, however you have to learn by doing and taking the bull by the horns for workstreams and initiatives. Not good place if you are looking for a highly structured, well-set-up work environment, as this is an organization that is still being fully built out.
