Pros
Consider yourself let loose in the chocolate factory of tech and tools. Freedom to explore, experiment and recommend (you have to make it convincing) why your approach, tool or pattern is better. What you do matters to this company's bottom line in a very direct way. You are not optimizing some arcane function that might be used in an algorithm (if you were at say Amazon). Here the software and data are the bread and butter for all of US dealerships. So what do you really really matters!. I also like the fact that the software's functional accuracy and relevancy is vetted by some domain leaders in the automotive dealership space. That's why you know, that what you are coding is being used. I'm a pragmatic programmer, so to me ensuring that what I'm about to code is relevant and useful is important. I'm not into vaporware or sit-on-the-shelf-and-never-see-daylight-ware. (a lot of that going on at Google). If free food is your bait, then you should work at a Sandwich shop. If you want to write software that matters, come to vAuto.
Cons
Limited snacks...I really had to think hard on the cons. But I did rather get my bonus than splurge on stupid excesses that seem to plague many startups.
