Came to NCI two years ago. Promised the world but what a shocker once you get onboard. Next thing you know they are in a re-compete and to compete they slice and nice your paycheck in order to get the contract. Because they cannot win it on performance. I was a subcontractor for them years ago and they were proud, going to do the job right, going to set the bar for everyone else to follow, etc. Now they are just like all the companies that complained about but they are in deep do-do. Have had series after series of loses and investigations after investigation by the contracting office regarding lets just say not being so honest. Funny how their motto is/was about intergrity and performance. They aren't doing that on any of their contracts down a Fort Huachuca and not on the medical treatment facilities. They win the later solely because the governmeny program manager likes them better than the other slacker. It is ashame how more work they do on that contract. Went to Europe several times on the government dime and didn't work for a week on more into the trip and took their families. Free ride on uncle sam. They have let a much of managers go down at Sierra VIsta and then need to fired the project managers too. The lie and falseifiy reports all the time. We here it all down at the fort even though they have told us to keep quite. I am looking for another company before the government gets wise and puls the contract. Most of the people around me just surf the net all day and I just cannot live that way.

Questionable ethics, lack of true leadership and decision making, culture of hiring friends vice the right talent, low morale, environment of gossip, mismanaged lay offs, meetings for the sake of process with little decision making. No accountability, no one makes even easy decisions - we just kick the can down the road. Many employees feel they never know who will be let go, very uncertain environment. Working here keeps you up at night thinking about what you could possibly do differently to survive the horrible corporate environment.
