      - Empower is a growing company in the retirement services space where many are shrinking. With growth comes opportunities to expand and grow your career. - Work/life balance is met with excellent vacation and leave options as well as a flexible work schedule. - Winning cures a lot of things, and this company tends to focus in the right areas for long-term growth.

      Cons

      No company is perfect; the challenges at Empower are related to growth which are far better than the challenges of shrinking!

      Pros

      I've worked at Empower for 3 years and truly enjoy my job. It's a fully remote team, with a great work/life balance. My manager is supportive, readily available, and fully trusts that I can perform my job without being micro-managed. Lots of very smart AND kind people here. Really neat to feel both challenged and supported to continuing growing.

      Cons

      Empower has really grown through acquisitions in the past few years (I was brought in through one of them), which means it's still trying to solidify and execute an overall roadmap in the area I work in. At times there have been pivots on focus, but overall it feel innovative and that everything will get ironed out.
