      Pros

      - Management is very supportive and employees feel empowered - Due to many acquisitions, there are lot of associates with different perspectives and experiences, and they feel welcomed and part of bigger goals of the organization. - Lot of opportunities within the organization to move around. - Good training program for leaders - Excellent overall compensation program

      Cons

      Intentional or unintentional, the company is secretive about internal promotions. All company promotions are not posted on company's intranet and not widely celebrated like in many large companies!

      Pros

      The biggest flex at Empower is that they truly strive to relate and empathize with the community through diversity and inclusivity when it comes to its employees. Another pro is that they are very flexible and many position are either hybrid or permanent remote. Also, they are very active in community service.

      Typical con is systems and technology changes.

      Pros

      Great people. Competitive pay and benefits. Lots of advancement opportunities. Easy to connect and network remotely. Communication from senior leadership is shared often and provides a clear picture on the direction of the company. Empower is here for the long haul as many retirement providers consolidate, so that stability is great, too.

      Cons

      There is no downtime. You give your all, all the time. It is very fulfilling work, but you need to be mindful and set your own boundaries to avoid burnout.
