Pros

I've enjoyed working here for the last handful of years. One of the few places I've worked where I absolutely love my team and enjoy coming to work.

Cons

I personally haven't run into any shortcomings.

Pros

Collaborative culture; equitable compensation; growth-minded organization with values steeped in integrity - doing the right thing.

Cons

Can be challenging to balance competing priorities at times, but it's not overwhelming. And, for someone like myself who appreciates a full plate, I see this "con" as a challenge that I enjoy.

Pros

Empower is great at supporting growth in its employees. That can be from offering courses to take, to training for management, to allowing an employee to move around to different roles in the company. It has allowed me to enjoy the over 25 years that I have worked here. Empower is wonderful at supporting employees to volunteer with organizations that they are passionate about. They allow 16 hours of company time to do so. If you maxed out that time, then the time you volunteer can be turned into cash for the organization as an hourly rate for hours volunteered. Empower supports diversity and inclusion. They have created numerous groups that meet monthly for employees to join to feel included or just to learn about those groups for awareness.

Cons

Being a global company means that sometimes you have to get up really early or work really late to be able to coordinate with teammates in another time zone. The two major time zones are Colorado, USA and Bangalore, India.
