Decent money if you put the work in.

Management has not been in the seat and will actually coach you in the wrong direction.

Good job and benifits

Pros

Benefits are good and not overly expensive. Lots of time off for volunteering and holidays. Once you ate salary pto is great and easy to use

Cons

Pay now that pay scales are posted with job descriptions . Hard to get promoted internally and get a good raise with it. Seems like you need to leave the company and then come back to get a decent raise.

Thank you for your feedback. We're pleased that so many of our associates take advantage of paid volunteer hours as well as a company match for personal volunteer hours. Compensation is part of our comprehensive total rewards package, and both base pay and merit increases are based on several factors including performance, capabilities, functional knowledge, organizational impact, mastery of role, and others.

Not this department

Pros

Amazing benefits, high pay, remote, and there is some flexibility.

Cons

If you don't have experience in the financial industry, you are set up for failure and this job is not for you. The training is structured to bore you to sleep with endless ppts and reading material, and is very ineffective because it doesn't prepare you or expose you to your actual role. You're expected to pass several FINRA exams while learning your role, and this again, is very difficult to near impossible for people new to the field. Lastly and most importantly, the culture and work environment is extremely toxic. You have almost no communication with your direct manager, and are expected to learn from your peers who are very confused themselves. People are constantly throwing each other under the bus, and seniors in the role look for any opportunity to criticize and report their subordinates. It's a mental health crisis waiting to happen. The money and benefits are not worth it.
