Pros

Fully remote work options available. Sponsorship for FINRA registrations and they give you a chance to get into the industry. Best of all, no cold calls. Very competitive base pay that is hard to beat and opportunity to earn some pretty nice bonuses monthly. The opportunity for advancement is real and will increase your income significantly, I personally saw many reps promoted within months. Good company culture even though remote. No micromanaging. Solid reputation in the industry and large market share to work with. The company is clearly making strides to improve their technology and user experience, which can conversely be stressful for new reps to navigate the ever changing waters.

Cons

Very challenging sales goals that reset monthly and are genuinely hard to attain unless you sacrifice lunch and breaks regularly, or have extreme efficiency and time management skills. Pretty harsh thresholds on production resulting in termination if not accomplished, almost seems that more reps are terminated than promoted. Limited product offering on the retail side of the business making it difficult to compete with top firms. Huge amount of misdirected calls to sales reps causing tremendous waste of time and energy. Systems can be a mess especially with all of the recent acquisitions.

Thank you for your feedback. We provide a lot of promotion opportunities for Retirement Consultants and encourage growth within this group. We are also expanding our product offering as we continue to expand our advisory and retail offering. We set goals and expectations to challenge associates but also at a level where they can be obtained with strong performance. And we also encourage associates to voice concerns they have with their management team.
