It’s all about the money

I love the facilities that I worked in .

Cons

Lots of changes in management team CDs are pushed to get everything done timely, but also be super productive . When I first started I felt like management cared about me . But, as it’s gotten bigger, I don’t feel like the companies cares about me as a person. They only care about $$$$. They micromanage billing to optimize the reimbursement and try to advise the clinicians on what they should and should not bill!! Employees are threatened with action plans if they don’t meet a certain quota of care coordination patients .

Flexible scheduling, one on one treatments, average pay

Cons

No training, no professional growth opportunity, terrible benefits and PTO, management is unexperienced and does not communicate, productivity focused, no documentation time, no raises. Company could not care less about patient well being or therapist for that matter. At one point we were told to clock out if a patient cancelled on us and clock back in when our next patient was ready. You are expected to clock out without pay when you run out of patients so inconsistent, not guaranteed hours.

I feel appreciated. I feel I am encouraged to do what is best for the patient during my treatment. I feel I am able to ethically bill for my time spent with each patient. All treatment is one on one. No grouping! Productivity expectations are reasonable and attainable.

Cons

PTO accrual is slow for the first year.
