Pros

The flexibility is the biggest part. The platform makes it easy to edit essays and give feedback to students. I enjoy seeing their reviews after I give my feedback. Managers are supportive but hands off.

Cons

Work availability can fluctuate depending on essay volume.

Pros

Empowerly has a great environment for counselors. Out of all the counseling companies I've worked for (and I've worked for pretty much all the ones that folks have heard of), Empowerly's technology, culture, support functions, and team is by far the best.

Cons

Probably a better scheduling system. Sometimes the software we use for scheduling is a bit confusing

Pros

It’s incredibly rewarding to use my admissions background to help students achieve their goals. Empowerly provides excellent resources to support this work.

Cons

Sometimes students no-show which can be challenging because I'm managing several clients during application season, and it takes time away from other students.
