Benefits are not bad and you get a lot of overtime.

It seems like all they care about is SAFETY and getting their Yearly Safety Reward. You spend lots of time weekly/monthly in meetings about safety..

Pros

EnPro provided a very diverse learning opportunity. You are able to see all the tax sides instead of just one and acquire a wealth of knowledge. They have an excellent 401(K) match and the company as a whole is very family oriented.

Cons

Unfortunately while the company as a whole promotes work-life balance and a family environment, the tax department does not. It is a very inflexible environment and work from home is not allowed. The department is very lean which means you are constantly busy throughout the year and extremely busy at quarters, year end, and return time. If you are looking for a great learning opportunity and willing to sacrifice work life balance then I wouldn't be too concerned otherwise you may need to rethink making a career in tax at EnPro.
