Pros
-Can be flexible -Transparent with financials -Employee owned -Can learn a lot depending on team
Cons
-Men are paid better (and pay for staff is still low) -Workload can be high and not distributed fairly -Typical corporate work environment with little privacy (they have access to your computer and WILL look at your history) -Utilization is constantly monitored by Senior Management though you have very little control over assignments/budgets -Some “non-billable” departments are under-staffed -Things tend to only be done if Principals or Associate Principals want them, otherwise, good luck
