      Fantastic compensation, supportive culture, and interesting work.

      Cons

      Enbridge is a place where you can only succeed if you either keep your head down to avoid rocking the boat or fully engage in the corporate politics to the detriment of productivity and excellence. This is absolutely not a company for anyone who wants to achieve great things, unless that thing is climbing a corporate ladder. Enbridge is a place where great ideas and people crushed into submission to fit the mold.

      Compensation, good people and work life balance is decent.

      Enbridge is a very rigid organization that has not evolved with the times: There is a very centralized "command and control" style of leadership coming from the top- which causes an insane amount of politics. Functional silos operate independently within the company. There is very little movement of talent around the organization. They offer no flexibility - no opportunity to work from home or work remotely. During my three years there, there was very little opportunity for career development or advancement (because the company operates in silos). It seems like managers and leadership were concerned about saving their own jobs and didn't have their employees best interests. I wouldn't recommend this company for someone who is early in their career. There is a lack of good mentors to guide or champion your career, and little career advancement opportunity.
