Pros

Only a few months into this position and I can clearly say that Enbridge is the best employer I've worked with in comparison to the three other companies in my career. -Onboarding process was flawless -The value of respect is followed and strictly adhered to by employees -My VP is the most approachable VP I have ever had -Management shows they care about there employees -You are fully aware you are working for a world class company -Salary was within expectations -Lots of diversity in the organization furthermore a lot of women are promoted, two thumbs up here -If your working at Enbridge please be aware I've worked in many companies in the industry and this one is top notch don't think you'll find a better company to work for outside of this one especially with the times we are in right now

Cons

-Sometimes feels too big but from what I have heard there has been tremendous effort to make org structure flat -Your experience may vary group to group -Growing pains from Spectra acquisition -In a state of constant change so be ready to be flexible and agile, adheres to the values of millennials (this is a good thing by the way)

Pathetic, the last place on earth to work at!

Pros

I really can't think of any!

Cons

Management is a gong show. It was common knowledge outside the I.T. department that this was so. Bad, incompetent managers who always try to keep you stressed out. Politics, self-promotion, and management does not acknowledge its own mistakes are the hallmark of this I.T. department! If you are in I.T., you will never have the opportunity to learn much. A handful of Old Boys keep full control over the critical operations and procedures. If you are a contractor, then be prepared to be more expendable than toilet tissue!

Old Boys Club

Pros

Allowed employees to work from home. Most meetings were held online so a person could attend from anywhere. Good Benefits and room for growth.

Cons

Employees were all stressed in the Calgary based department I worked in due to unrealistic deadlines. Team Lead did not have people skills and was very rude. Unfortunately, this person was slated for advancement. An old boys club, where men still had to wear suites to work everyday. Top management would drop down for a chat, but only talked to the men, the women were ignored. Many employees never saw daylight due to the workstation environment placed in the middle of the floor. Only offices on the outside perimeter had windows. Only one very old microwave and a small fridge provided in the staff kitchen for an entire floor of employees.
