Pros

Beautiful place to work. Great money. Friendly co workers. Clean and nice tools for service.

Cons

Long hours, seasonal business flow, long drive, strict rules, too many meetings. Parking for employees is tough. Long walk to take a lunch break so its hard to eat. 12 hour shift is a long time to not eat and refuel your self.

Pros

Small Team, Food Truck Thursdays, Lunches for Meeting Reservation Team Revenue Goals, PTO, 401K, PPO Health Insurance, Vision, Dental PPO, Monthly Revenue Goals, Incentive Payout, Monthly Sales Agent Coaching for Phone Calls, Sales Skills will Be Honed, Office Hours Based on Staffing or Holidays. Some room to grow.

Cons

Small team, inconsistent scheduling, same day call offs, preferential treatment, No holiday pay, No sick days. High turnover with reservation agents. Average agent stays 1-1.5 years. Agents will work for their commission to afford to live - incentives are not guaranteed. Incentive payout is based on meeting goal or a percentage of the goal (standard in most call centers). Work culture and work/life balance is missing for Entry Level Employees. Over managed; too many Reservation Managers for the amount of agents (2-3 Managers/Leads/Supervisors for 5 agents and 1 GRC) Room to grow is available within Corporate Office however, it is a small company and not associated with hospitality umbrella companies (i.e. Hyatt, Hilton, Four Seasons, etc.) so transferring locations/states is out of the question. Unless you work on property and then it is limited to AZ, VA or Bahamas. Open spots for existing roles in Corporate Office are few, except in the case of a restructuring or turnover within departments. If spots open up and you wish to advance, apply and advocate for yourself (Pro Tip) Due to the last 6-7 months of restructuring with the Director of Reservations, Corporate Reservation Manager, Reservations Supervisor and Director of Revenue; a lot of roles and tasks of the newly brought in Corporate and Senior managers were up in the air and left to their subordinates. Communication lacks from one department to another and one property to another concerning terms and conditions, specials, e-mail blasts, company announcements, system limitations, etc. Establishing better communication and boundaries was a main focus by the newly appointed Corporate Senior Manager. Based on the healthcare plans, the healthcare, state and federal deductions and the current hourly wage, etc. I would not reccommend a Reservation Sales Agent or Group Coordinator position to anyone that is married with children, or single with children - because the deductions taken would greatly and adversely affect what remains from your paycheck. I would reccommend for those who are single or married and their spouses have their own healthcare. If you're decent with handling money, you will be able to budget correctly to pay rent/mortgage, personal living expenses, car payment, car insurance and mobile phone bill with left over to get you to the next pay check and put some away for savings.

Pros

An incredibly beautiful setting with a stellar team of managers. Many employees have been there for a very long time, which speaks volumes. Everyone is treated very well. Much like a huge family.

Cons

Being spread out on 75+ acres comes with its share of challenges, but nothing overwhelming. Not really a "con."
