      Pros

      I love my job here at Encompass! I cannot say enough about the staff here. ALL the nurses are so extremely talented and smart, just all around a really strong team - both shifts. Also the leadership is top notch! I really like the Supervisors and the CNO, very intelligent, strong, leadership and know what they are doing! They rock! I think DM is the best boss I have ever had tbh, so very supportive and down to earth. Makes it easy to come to work every day. Also the culture is amazing, always doing fun things for the staff to show appreciation. Never seen a company go out of their way to include and support their employees, it’s awesome.

      Nightmare.

      Pros

      The pay is decent. There’s always opportunities to pick up extra shifts (because they are short staffed 24/7).

      Cons

      The patient to nurse ratio is downright dangerous. The patients are way too sick and not appropriate for rehab. 10 patients on day shift with 1 tech is unrealistic. It’s basically a nursing home/ med surge unit with 10 patients per nurse. Way too high of an acuity to have 10 patients. You’ll be asked to stay and work doubles constantly. They need to hire more nurses and techs or lower their census.

      Rude, Condescending. Belittle, Bullying, Fraudulant

      Pros

      Good people attempting to provide honest legitimate health care in this degrading environment

      Cons

      Endless bullying, badgering, belittling rudeness in every level- the great American trickle-down. Management actually appears to “treasure” and “embrace” this practice. Management hands it out and staff dishes it out as well because they are not rewarded or respected for their abilities. Management calls, texts. And Emails ALL day and ALL night without respect for employees time off with their families and friends.
