Feeling of helping others and seeing end result of my efforts. I get to make a difference! Great team, both in my department and overall. Career Opportunities: I have moved into a new job once so far and it is all about working on getting the skills needed in the next job and doing very well in your current job. The way I look at it, folks shouldn't move up just because they have been around a while. It should be something to work toward, interview for, and get because of best fit. I personally have seen people get promotions and lateral roles they were interested in. IDPs - having a development plan has helped me become very strong in my role. Good benefits and PTO. I can't go anywhere else and get the time off I get here, and the 401k match and stock purchase programs are very good. Fair pay - we all wish we made more no matter where we work, but Encompass Health seems to stay competitive. Strong company - they know how to run and grow the business, which provides me peace of mind. I like having this job!
