Encore hires almost anyone. Directors and managers are promoted and hired with absolutely no experience. No communication. Sales managers are lazy and do the bare minimum so they can go home at 2pm, while high on gummies. HR is the worst. They will manipulate fabricated stories to push you out while telling you, "you have a voice". Very political, high-school, corporate brown nosing environment. Horrible equipment that is old, dodgy, and doesn't work have the time. Empty promises, horrible benefits, and slow seasons. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. in my 20+ years in the industry, this was one of the worst experiences of my career. Pinnacle Live is stealing all of the properties because 5 star hotels just dont want to deal with the headache.

Low pay even if you are experienced. Sometimes crazy hours. You have to do Liason work which is sitting in a room for 8 hours or more while a company loads in or loads out. Not much work/life balance.
