Encore provided a solid starting point in my career, offering plenty of opportunities to gain hands-on experience and learn from seasoned technicians. However, the compensation was quite poor, and the hours were highly inconsistent. Unfortunately, middle management often lacked professionalism and a clear understanding of operations. Be prepared for unpredictable shifts, like being scheduled for a solo 4-hour shift at 8 PM, only to end up working until 3 AM because the operations manager chose not to schedule additional support.
