When looking for a startup to join, technology comes first. The founders don't matter (these ones are great, with 2 massive exits behind them, including selling to Palo Alto and running their largest SaaS product Prisma Cloud - read: well connected founders). The team doesn't matter (this team is great - smart, friendly, fast-paced and an absolute machine at turning out new product capabilities) The technology matters - does the tech solve a 10x problem? Does the tech take a security issue (too many false positives in application code) and reduce that by 90%? Yes. Therefore, a 10x problem that a security team will actually invest in.

Cons

Still a small company, so nowhere to hide. Pressure is on to hit ambitious growth targets. Not a well-known brand name in the market yet, so you have to be comfortable constantly educating and building awareness.
