Pros

The people. Friendly coworkers that are always willing to help. That's why I have stayed as long as I have, they make it hard to leave. The pay is alright but not the best in the bay area. As the company gets larger I think they need to start spending more on salaries, we're not really a start up anymore. There's also opportunity and upward mobility if you know what you're doing. Prove that you can learn your job and get really good at it and it will be recognized. I have been promoted a few times since I started, now I'm in the position of recognizing the hard work and talent, and promoting those who work hard. It's surprisingly easy to pick out the brightest stars, though it's hard to give them everything they want in return. I do my best to recognize those efforts and make it known that people are appreciated.

Cons

As the company grows and becomes more established, the higher level roles get filled or become "crowded" and upward mobility becomes harder. More competition from peers, higher bars are set, there can only be so many managers, etc. With less opportunities for promotions the base salaries need to start matching larger more well established companies or I'm afraid there will be more "churn" in employees. When quarterly financial updates tell us how much revenue is growing each quarter and only so many new employees join during that time I wonder where all the money is actually going. Transparency on what the company is spending on might help alleviate this.

Thanks for taking the time to write this about our team and culture. It’s true, we are a great place to work with supportive team members. I think we do our best to manage changes when they come along, but your review reminds us that we can always be looking for ways to get better, as we scale the organization so thank you for that motivator.

Pros

Only co-workers you work with daily are nice and enjoyable.

Cons

very unrealistic timelines on projects. lots of favoritism at work. special perks for special ones. Too much micro-micro management. No open communication approach, if approached openly then there you have to pay for consequences. No work life balance .

Ouch – one star. We are clearly not getting it done in terms of communicating with you or supporting you in the ways you need. I really appreciate you taking time to outline what’s not working for you here. I joined the company just over a year ago and I know that change can be tough. That said, I believe we are making the right decisions and shifts to set our organization and the company up for growth and great success. We want our teams to win, it's sincerely our intent. I strongly suggest you speak to your leadership team, including me so we can talk through the rest of your concerns. Thanks as always for the direct feedback.

Growing software company that lives its values

Pros

The company is growing, has a good blend of benefits, culture and salary while caring about both their clients and employees. The product is one you can stand behind, helping ensure studies for new drugs are developed, monitored, and studies are accurate. In order to do this you have to put up with a company that takes work/life balance seriously, recognizes employees, and strives to provide new opportunities for its staff.

Cons

The company is growing, and as a client focused company there are periods with long hours and tight deadlines.

Thank you for your review. I agree the people and our product are amazing at endpoint. Our people are the #1 reason I choose Glassdoor every day, and our product is why we stay committed. For me there is much reward in the work we do as an organization. I appreciate your reminder to me/us to continue to recognize employees and that as we grow we must continue to find the balance in our work.
