      Pros

      They will buy you ice cream and Pizza if you work really really hard.

      Cons

      If you work upstairs it might be worth it but if you are on the manufacturing floor in any capacity you are looked at as an inferior human being. The pay is very poor for the expectations. Your supervisor will ride you relentlessly although they have no idea how to do your job. If they had whips they would most definately use them.

      Pros

      Enercon Technologies is a great place to come to work every day. The people here are nice and friendly and management cares about you not only as an employee but as an individual too. There are many 10, 20 & 30 year employees here. That speaks a lot about the management of the company all by itself. The company designs and manufactures high-tech electronic products right here in Maine. It’s really cool to see the broad spectrum of products that are made here. Total employment is about 135 employees between the headquarters located in Gray and the second manufacturing facility in Auburn. Both facilities are clean and maintained like new. All employees are expected to work hard, but that hard work is rewarded with good pay and year-end bonus if the company was successful for the year. I highly recommend Enercon Technologies if you are looking for a very good and successful company to work for.

      Small company, not great for a first job

      Pros

      - High visibility within the company, lots of opportunities to be heard/make improvements - Management/owners are accessible, and willing to help - Almost everybody is friendly and helpful - Design engineers have a lot of industry experience and know-how

      Cons

      - Pay scale is very low - Company is split between two locations, can be inconvenient - Not a lot of development - Not many young engineers at the company
