The 5 star review below mine is obviously fake to anyone who works at Enercon. No one who works here would say with a straight face that the pay is anything more than mediocre. It's a given that you will be paid well below your market value to work here, and the people who stay for years are generally rooted by their family. Certain engineers would be making at least twice as much for their level of experience and loyalty at a comparable small company that pays appropriately.
With the ongoing growth I imagine that they will start considering a higher pay scale for engineers, but the technicians and operators are also treated very unfairly and I don't think their management is as open to change. And this is a serious problem; however low you think they're being paid from my description, it's lower than that. Apart from the pay, the company is pleasant to work for if you can handle the pace, just be sure to fight for hourly pay over salaried. There's also quite literally no opportunity for advancement, but that's mostly due to the flat management structure which is a boon overall.
Benefits are also poor but I don't think they're unusually poor for a small company. Enercon won't be a small company much longer though...
