      Pros

      The environment is incredible, the people are so nice, everyone is helpful Working remotely is available Very nice benefits The work is fair and engaging Even if you do not know something, Enova is happy to teach. It is very easy to grow as an engineer here. I genuinely love my job here

      Cons

      I actually can't think of cons off the top of my head! Im sure theres areas where they can improve, as no company is perfect, but I havent run into any problems yet!

      Great people, but the rest needs to match

      Pros

      The people here really are fantastic, no joke. During my time at Enova I was consistently impressed with how positive my interactions with everyone were, whether that was across teams or within. There are a lot of talented people here. The tech stack is pretty nice, although some of the products are outdated in terms of language version. Expect Rails 4 or 5 instead of 7.

      Cons

      Attrition has become more and more of an issue due to below-market salaries. Most tech companies in Chicago pay 20% more, at least - and I saw some people double their salary by leaving. I watched two entire teams disappear due to attrition while I was there while management told us it wasn’t a problem. Instead of replacing the people who left, they simply assigned the work to a remaining team.
