      Pros

      The people at Ensemble are great and there are amazing opportunities to learn a lot about the Revenue Cycle field, healthcare, grow as an associate and leader, and the apply skills to the modern era of healthcare and technology. There are flexible work options for many as well and somethings are definitely industry leading as a top notch company that is quite young still founded in (2014-2015) & becoming huge!

      Cons

      Work life balance can be off for some, especially if you are in more demanding leadership roles and really good at your job. The company is growing a lot and keeping up with economies of scale, staffing, and balancing strategy are all vital to its overall health. Perhaps the pay isn’t as high as a tech giant Apple, Google, Facebook, Amazon, large multinational, or consulting firm, but it may get there hopefully.

      They hired over-qualified people ignored them, now they are wondering why most are leaving.

      Working at Ensemble felt like a dream in the beginning, you were told " as long as you are hardworking you will get rewarded for your efforts". That is not what happened within this department. We have many associates who go above and beyond their work load, they get amazing reviews from clients and are always the first person management reaches out to when they need help with "special projects" but are yet to be acknowledged for their work. It is such a shame when you watch people come into the company with great talent and spark and it all goes to waste because management cannot figure out how to support them and keep them motivated. We have, on many occasions, requested an audience with senior leadership to discuss these issues but nothing. This is resulting in the best of the bunch looking for opportunities elsewhere. These are people who did everything Ensemble said they should do in order to get the recognition and support they deserve, they participated in all internal trainings (Workday and Edge), utilized HFMA membership to get more knowledge, took on responsibilities of other roles, have amazing relationships with clients and always got amazing reviews from clients, went above and beyond their job description to do things for management but still got the silent treatment from senior leadership for over a year. Oh yea...Favoritism is very evident here

      Great Company

      Pros

      The leadership of Ensemble looks out for their employees, going above and beyond to make sure that we are heard, we know we are valued, and that we have a strong connection with each other, even if we are working remotely. There is a sense of pride working for Ensemble. The cooperation amongst areas is strong, in that we are working for a common goal and we strive to be our very best 100% of the time. The pay is fair for markets that we exist in. The benefits are good. One of the very best companies I have ever worked for.

      Cons

      There are still some managers that do not meet Ensemble standards, however, over time, they are slowly being weeded out. It just takes patience for the right manager to be put in the right position.
