Pros
Embrace the employment of Women in Tech team leader and manager very supportive, open to questions and suggestions Friendly, supportive and collaborative team who share knowledge - open to learn and teach! Enjoying it so far, although longer hours opportunity to mentor newer staff open to employ staff who have disabilities - hooray! at last!
Cons
Took quite some weeks to get access to support different customers. little time for lunch break or to leave on time when issues occur - long days, tiring. Some technical delivery managers shout on calls in some countries (mutable on teams). isolating working from home no sign language in meetings or increasing of documents on teams unless prompted. Time differences can be difficult to negotiate for meetings. Most US presentations are very sport driven , need more diversity and inclusion, less male focus on presentations as they are half the population. They need more female leaders at the top like most Tech companies this is lacking. no opportunity for pay rises but base level pay was excellent £20k more than my last placement!
