Pros

Work/life balance is sometimes good

Cons

IT department is just weird and in complete chaos. From the CIO down, it's just not good. The directors/VPs are clueless, lack empathy, and are only concerned about their bonuses. They try to brag about diversity and inclusion, but that's so fake. IT is definitely the most divided from what I've seen. This place lacks professionalism period. If a manager doesn't like someone, they won't be cordial, they will outright ignore emails and give attitude. Extremely unprofessional. They only promote friends so your know and hard work will not be valued. Also, to say it's IT, they are definitely stuck in time. So many old people who still want to have processes and function like it's the 90s, please. Glad I was able to get away from that mess. There are way too many opportunities out there folks, you can do much better. Good luck!

Pros

They have great benefits, nothing else.

Cons

Pay is low, hours worked are long, deadlines are tight. They only hire and promote based off of skin color, not who is the best for the job. Used to be a great company until management ruined it amd all the great workers and leaders left the company, and they siad they don't care when people leave, that is how they think about their employees. You are just a number. You will not get promoted or get a raise unless you are in the buddy program which has created poor management throughout . They take away more and more positions, and expect you to pick up the work without more pay or reward, so they can save money and look good for the shareholders but then they collect hundreds of thousands in bonuses every year.

Pros

Stable company with excellent benefits. Most jobs are located in New Orleans, LA; Jackson, MS, and Houston, TX. Typical benefits with a company matched 401K and a company funded cash balance pension plan.

Cons

Upward mobility can be limited. Job progression is very structured and it takes years to advance to a manager position.
