      Pros

      The pay is phenomenal, safety is top priority, training is provided abundantly, career advancement is there if you want it.

      Cons

      Be prepared to move around a lot, plants close, positions get eliminated, organization charts change all the time, Entergy looks for ways to downsize and cut costs as most companies are now doing, be a work-a-holic and be committed to your job over your family most of the time.

      Pros

      I cannot think of any pros at the moment. Some employees have tremendous growth opportunities, but that is only if you are great at playing the office politics game.

      Cons

      There are too many to list. But mainly the uncertainty of the organization, The employees are not sure if the company will be around much longer. The morale of the organization is at an all time low. The turnover in the HR department is soaring which is causing stress and triple workload for remaining employees. Bad leadership and line management is all over the company. Employees have no rights.

      Pros

      Working at Entergy in the call center was enjoyable. The pay was great. I loved that team spirit was promoted. Safety was practiced and not just preached. Everyone got along with everyone.

      Cons

      I did not like it when storms threatened near or far. You knew there'd be over time and if a hurricane came to our area some of the people would have to stay with the company instead of leaving with family. But it was all a part of the job so you got used to it while disliking it.
