Pros

The People for the most part are AMAZING! So many go above and beyond daily regardless of… in the Cons The Product overall is great, and if the customers are spending half a million or more a yr they will get at least pretty good support. Benefits were above the market norm, and lots of free food, swag and Energy Drinks! Ummmm Most Director level and below Management are the Folks you want on the trenches with you when going through the kind of “Growing Pains” Entrata is self inflicting often . I was very fortunate, My direct Manager and his VP were AMAZING! Honestly two of the Best! Leaders I personally interacted in my 18+ yrs in the SaaS Universe! They offered the Best in person Tri-Weekly trainings any sales professional (especially with A.D.D. Sales Folks that are every where like me). And had amazing processes they could control around as much as possible. That being said…. More in the cons

Cons

Ohhh Entrata, what happened ??? Like Seriously! You should have heard the cheerful energy and Love these 10 Yr Plus aka Lifers just totally Deflating as all the good things about the company had become INSANELY PASSIONATE about got stripped away 1 by 1 , piece by piece, I could honestly feel it and witnessed it first hand. One of the newest on the C-Level team quickly made her mark on this 20 yr old company, by slashing almost every department. I watched of some of the biggest cheerleaders and most knowledgeable on so many things got picked off like flies as they brought in more and more Podium and Pluralsite Homies with ZERO industry experience. I stayed even after I told my manager 6 months earlier how frustrating, and unhappy this environment had made it feel: The leaders I worked with were amazing as said in the Pros. Here’s the kicker!…. They where getting their legs cut out from beneath them almost monthly, and giving them the resources they needed to train us on the industry specific knowledge that is crucial in this space time and time again. The last thought may or may not be a big one to some but it left an impression on me and that is I often would joke, that I sit 10 yards from the CEO, have had multiple conversations with him and even got him to laugh on more than a couple occasions and yet I always saw him as the Closest CEO I have worked next to that Never knew my name…. Again this is not a pitty party just seemed interesting. I am sure this is long enough, but there is soooo much more.

Pros

Work from home was all

Cons

You have 1 minute between calls and they come at exactly one minute. No time to breathe. They listen and grade your calls very harshly. It’s almost impossible to get 100%. They put you on a pip for every little mistake you make. The management i had to deal with was very unprofessional. Looking back I should have reported to HR rather I just went to management, they are a click so my word didn’t matter. They have high expectations and little pay. It takes forever to get a raise, when I was hired I was told I could get $15 an hour in 6 months. I started at $11 and ended at $11. It’s just not a good company, the fact that they laid me off in the middle of the whole Covid 19 outbreak shows what kind of company they truly are. One that could care less about their employees and I’m glad I got fired because I don’t want to work for an employer that is greedy and could care less about employees.

Pros

-The people really make this a great workplace, Entrata does a great job at hiring awesome people -HR really makes the most of the resources they are given, although some might prefer different benefits, HR does a great job at making everyone feel included -The company has generic values that make for a great foundation, whether they live them is a story for another time

Cons

-The Executive team is disaster. The CEO is very unprofessional, his behavior at work is inappropriate, he hires random women he meets at parties, he throws parties at the building and leaves it trashed, the list goes on. -As great as HR is, they have verbally told me they have 0 control over certain HR matters, the Executive team always makes the last call and job security is non-existent. There are major issues when you cannot report inappropriate behavior to your own HR department simply because nothing will happen or youre too scared you'll get fired. -Entrata has a lot of great middle managers, unfortunately many of the directors (higher level managers)are not qualified for their positions and the "who you know" office politics come into play. You will see preferential treatment on the daily, and they do not even try to be discrete about it. -Last but not least benefits are not competitive, you have tons of employees working full time salary, or full time hourly without PTO. Holidays are not paid, if you do qualify for PTO don't get too excited because its only a handful of days and sick days are not separate either
