      Pros

      The pay was decent (commissions), free food, fun company events and swag given often.

      Cons

      There is a Good 'ol boys club. They will decide very quickly if you are in their club. If it is decided that you are not, then you will not move up. There are a lot of politics in this organization. I cannot speak for all departments but for my department be aware of possible mild hazing when you join as well.

      Good company with a strong culture

      Pros

      Entrata has a distinctive culture that it tries very hard to live by. Most people really like the values Entrata espouses. There are a lot of really good people at Entrata who do good work and who care about others. They try to provide a good work/life balance.

      Cons

      Some departments are easier to work in than others. There could be improvement made by providing better training and leadership development for many of the managers. Pay, particularly the benefits package, could be improved quite a bit. The CEO, while passionate, is also a liability in many ways.

      Pros

      Working here is positive for me from a culture standpoint, but is terrible in comparison to other tech companies when it comes to benefits, technology, and investing in its employees.

      Cons

      The company has 2 values that get flaunted that I question: "Be excellent to each other" "Be the Joneses" Well, here's the problem - other tech companies in the valley offer paid benefits (not a cruddy high deductible / $600 a month family plan), 5-20% annual bonuses depending on company position, better PTO plans, and etc... Entrata is not being excellent to its employees or being the Joneses by giving employees a t-shirt and an occasional trip to the movies. It's fun, but ultimately doesn't help an employee provide for their family. That's the x-factor that retains your BEST employees.
